St. Vincent’s Hospice Summer Gathering
Wednesday 08th August 2018
On Sunday 19 August at 2pm, St. Vincent’s Hospice warmly invites members of the public and supporters to attend their Annual Summer Gathering of Thanksgiving and Remembrance.
Focusing on the theme of “Support through Difficult Times”, the afternoon will feature music, readings and activities for children, to remember the past, those who are no longer with us, and look to the future.
Chief Executive of St. Vincent’s Hospice, Kate Lennon, said: “This year marks the 30th Anniversary of our Hospice. Anniversaries are times that allow us not only to look back, but look forward with hope, and our Summer Gathering aims to do just that.
“We all have ways of coping through difficult times, and we would love if you could come along, meet some people who have gone through very similar experiences over the last 12 months, and share some of the things that have helped you in the past.”
St. Vincent’s Hospice is a specialist provider of palliative and Hospice care for people and families all across Renfrewshire who have been affected by a life-limiting condition. Whether in their In-patient Unit, Day Hospice or out in the community, for 30 years they have aimed to provide the right care, at the right time, for anyone who needs it.
Kate added: “This event is open to everyone, and you are welcome to bring friends and family along to this special day. We hope to see you there.”
