Friendly, Free Advice about Powers of Attorney
Tuesday 27th August 2019
St. Vincent's Hospice
St. Vincent’s Hospice is offering a helpful legal advice service completely free of charge to any adult in Renfrewshire, on Wednesday 4 September.
The service gives professional advice and information to help you plan for your future, including writing a Will and arranging Powers of Attorney.
A Power of Attorney is a legal document that sets out what you would want to happen in the future, if you could no longer look after your own affairs. It gives the legal authority for someone else to act on your behalf and make decisions about your finances and welfare.
Our friendly, local, solicitors can help explain what is involved, with no commitment or obligation.
After running these sessions for several months, the Hospice has had a fantastic response from those who have used the service. One local person commented: “This is a great service. The solicitor is a very kind and patient person who you can talk to very easily.”
If you would like to book an appointment, please contact June Burgess, Legacy Officer at St. Vincent’s Hospice on 01505 705 635.
